Chakrathirtha Mukkoti On Dec 12

Hyderabad: One of the significant festivals that is being observed in the auspicious month of Karthika at Tirumala, the Chakra Theertha Mukkoti will be observed on December 12.

The sacred Chakra Theertham is located, a few miles away in the southern direction of Srivari Temple in the deep green woods of Seshachala ranges.

As per the tamil Karthika masam, on the Suddha Dwadasi day, the Chakra Thirtha Mukkoti event is celebrated every year.

Special Pujas and Abhishekam will be performed by TTD to Sri Sudarshana Chakrattalwar engraved on the rocky hill along with Sri Narasimha Swamy and Anjaneya Swamy idols located in this sacred place on this day and later Prasadams will be distributed.
